20 weeks!

19 weeks!

Vernix caseosa, a greasy white substance made of lanugo, oil and dead skin cells (yum) now coats baby's skin, shielding it from the amniotic fluid. (Picture yourself after a nine-month bath, and the need for protection makes sense.) You might actually get to see the vernix at birth, especially if baby is premature

Finally showing the goods!

Trying to play peek a boo!

Snow!

Today was the big appointment. I loaded up on suger and he was very active! Everything looks great, he is actually a little big right now but it just might be a growth spurt. I will post pics later. Now we have work to do, first of all a name, and second start shopping!!!!!!!!!!!

So this is nesting...

Today I got the urge to do something around the house, so I decided to start taking down the wallpaper border in the baby's room and then I got 100 things running though my mind that must get done, NOW. Like getting the carpet cleaned, install a ceiling fan, paint, clean the baseboards, WHEW. I got a little section of wallpaper taken down, for now it will have to do.

18 weeks!!

Your Baby: Week 18
Your fetus has become amazingly mobile (at least compared to you), passing the hours yawning, hiccuping, rolling, twisting, kicking, punching, sucking and swallowing. And, baby's finally big enough that you'll be able to feel those movements soon.
